Apple Tiramasu recipe
1 portion quark (milk curd)
2 pieces rye cracker bread
mineral water with gas
1 tbsp vanilla oil
a little coffee powder or cocoa powder
Crumble the crackers.
Wash and grate the apple. Sprinkle the grated apple with cinnamon.
Mix the quark with the vanilla oil and mineral water.
After all the ingredients are prepared you will start layering.
Put the crumbled crackers in a bowl and drizzle with the expresso. Put a layer of grated apple on top of the crackers and then add a layer of the quark mixture.
Keep layering the ingredients until you have used up all of the crackers, apples, and quark making sure that your last layer is quark.
Once you are done layering, place the tiramisu in the refrigerator for at least an hour. The longer you leave it in the refrigerator the better.
Note: If you don’t have quark on your plan, you can substitute yogurt, mozzarella or cream cheese. You can also substitute another fruit from your plan for the apple if desired.
Note: Portions are based on the metabolic balance plan. If you are interested in knowing more about metabolic balance, check our their blog.
